My tenure as a Project Manager with Katalyst5, an educational technology consulting firm, had me managing $250K+ training programs and materials for clients such as CN Rail. Responsible for supervising accounting and payroll activities, participating in budget forecasting and management, liaising with clients/teams to ensure resources were provided and deadlines met, it's at Katalyst5 that I cut my teeth on the nitty grit of project management.
Transport Canada
Hired as a Senior Analyst in the Intelligence Branch of Transport Canada, I was quickly promoted to Chief of Civil Aviation, responsible for investigating and responding to threats to Canada's aviation infrastructure. With this came the implementation and management of several sensitive multi-million dollar federal government programs, as well as managing a team of 5-7 reports.
