STORYTELLER
One of the joys of freelance and content writing is that you never what you're going to write next. Some may see that as risky or unstable or not routine enough; I see it as welcome challenge to adopt new voices, try new styles, and flex the breadth of my skills.
The Gourmand's Lemon
It was truly an honour to contribute several pieces for such am original and beautiful work by such a prestigious publisher.
"So, like the lemon’s origins itself, the more we peel back the question of essence, the
murkier it becomes, as we pass that rarely crossed Rubicon, the threshold between fruit
and philosophy."

Itineraries of Taste
Working with classic, internationally-recognized brands is always special, even more so when you're hired to write about the culinary delicacies of your home town!
"Planted at the crossroads of North American and European history, rooted in the long legacy of the region's indigenous cultures, and enriched by centuries of immigration from around the world, Montreal has a cultural vitality that blossoms in every direction."
Hey Dave? Advice Column
One of the more inspiring content projects I've worked on was as an advice columnist for Goalcast. As a self-development company, one logical extension was to offer its massive and loyal fanbase an avenue through which they could ask for help.
"I’ve failed just as much, if not more, than I’ve succeeded. I struggle with my own demons every day, I struggle to pay the rent. I hope, I regret, I work hard to make sure that hopes don’t turn into regrets."
"Do you know what an entire generation did after experiencing the incomprehensible horrors of WWII? Palm reading? Seances? Nope. They couldn’t plunge their head in the sand like these kids these days, because the sand was mostly blood. Instead, they looked meaninglessness right in its f*cking eye, grappled with it individually and collectively, and came out the other end with a deeper understanding of the human condition."

Getting to work for Montreal's loudest, wildest and most eclectic music labels was a blast, not only to help put a great spin and market some of the city's best artists, but also the free shows!
"Juxtaposing shadow and light, warmth and frigidity, melancholy and hope, Valleys explore unknown sonic lands with the hushed intensity of the meditative Montreal winters from which it has been born."
